To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Singapore's independence, Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt scotch whisky, created five limited edition bottles of the Glenfiddich 50-Year-Old to commemorate Singapore's inspiring journey. Each bottle is sold privately, accompanied by an art piece from five local artists.
This functional art piece resembles a majestic cape that envelops and protects the precious bottle, giving off a graceful presence. The cape is detailed using scale patterns inspired by Singapore’s Merlion, symbolizing the harmony between the various races, cultures, and religions in Singapore that makes up our little red dot. The cape also represents the spirit of authenticity, refinement and craftsmanship required to produce the Glenfiddich 50-year-old single-malt whisky.
The iconic triangular bottle is reflected with a parallel treatment on the cape. The white cape symbolizes a pure spirit while providing a distinct contrast to highlight the polished copper antlers.
